HockeyShift alternative
Switching from HockeyShift to HockeySync
The Northern Premier Hockey League moved its whole history from HockeyShift to HockeySync. We do the same for your league, at no charge.
What comes over from HockeyShift
Teams, rosters, schedules, standings, and player and goalie statistics for every season on your HockeyShift site, along with team logos. HockeyShift sites differ from one league to the next, so we check each import against your published standings before anything goes live.
Your domain and your website
If your league's HockeyShift site runs on its own domain, that domain can point at your HockeySync site instead, on Pro. The site is in your colours, with news, scores, standings, leaders and a page for every player, team and game, and it updates itself as games are scored.
Scoring and running the season
Scorekeepers score from any phone at the bench, and stats update within seconds on the website and in the free HockeySync app. Online registration and payments, suspensions, trades, playoff brackets and an AI schedule generator are in the same place, so the season runs from one login.
Questions leagues ask
- How long does a HockeyShift migration take?
- Most leagues are live within 24 hours of sending us their site. Leagues with many seasons of history can take a little longer, and your HockeyShift site keeps running until you decide to switch.
- Has a league already moved from HockeyShift?
- Yes. The Northern Premier Hockey League (NPHL) moved from HockeyShift to HockeySync, history included, and reviewed the move on the App Store.
- Do we need to export anything from HockeyShift?
- Usually not. We read your league's public HockeyShift pages ourselves. Send us the address of your stats site and tell us which seasons to bring over.
- What does HockeySync cost after the move?
- The Rookie plan is free for up to 6 teams, 60 players and 60 games a season. Pro has no limits and is priced on the number of games you run in a year, from $599 a year.
