GameSheet alternative
Switching from GameSheet to HockeySync
We move your teams, players, schedules and past seasons from GameSheet for you, at no charge, and your league keeps scoring the whole time.
What comes over from GameSheet
Teams, rosters with jersey numbers, schedules, standings and season statistics for every season you have played. Where GameSheet has the play-by-play, each game's goals, assists and penalties come across too, so player pages and all-time records are complete from day one. We check the totals against your GameSheet standings before anything goes live.
What changes on game night
Scorekeepers score from any phone at the bench. Each goal, penalty and shot appears on the league website and in the free HockeySync app within seconds, and standings update when the game ends. Your league also gets its own website in its colours, so you no longer need a separate site with stats embedded in it.
Check this before you switch
If your governing body requires GameSheet for sanctioned games, keep it for those: HockeySync is not a Hockey Canada or USA Hockey sanctioned scoresheet. HockeySync also needs an internet connection while scoring for now; offline scoring is on the way. Adult and independent leagues usually choose their own software.
Questions leagues ask
- Can we move from GameSheet in the middle of a season?
- Yes. Because your history comes with you, standings and stats stay correct, and GameSheet keeps running until you decide to switch over. Most leagues are live on HockeySync within 24 hours.
- Does it cost anything to migrate?
- No. The migration is included on every plan, including the free Rookie plan for leagues of up to 6 teams, 60 players and 60 games a season.
- Does HockeySync produce a game sheet?
- Yes. Each game produces a PDF game sheet you can print or share.
- Can players still see their stats?
- Yes, and more of them. Every player has a page with their stats season by season and all-time records, on the league website and in the free HockeySync app for iPhone and Android.
