eSportsDesk alternative
Switching from eSportsDesk to HockeySync
We bring your league's eSportsDesk history across, every season of it, and your league moves from posting final scores to scoring games live.
What comes over from eSportsDesk
Teams, rosters with players' full names, schedules and final scores, standings, and season totals for players, goalies and teams, for every season on your eSportsDesk site, as far back as it goes. Older seasons come across as the season totals your site publishes. We reconcile the totals against your eSportsDesk stats pages before anything goes live.
From final scores to live scoring
On HockeySync the game is scored as it happens. Scorekeepers enter goals, assists, penalties and shots from any phone at the bench, and the website, standings and the free HockeySync app update within seconds. From your first game on HockeySync, every goal and penalty is on record, game by game.
Your website, registration and payments
Your league gets a website in its colours with news, scores, standings, leaders and a page for every player, team and game. Registration forms, waivers and online payments are built in, and registered players land on your rosters.
Questions leagues ask
- We have twenty years of history on eSportsDesk. Does all of it come over?
- Yes. We import every season your eSportsDesk site holds, so all-time records and career stats are complete. Older seasons arrive as the season totals your site publishes.
- Can we switch mid-season?
- Yes. Your standings and stats stay correct because the history comes with you, and eSportsDesk keeps running until you decide to switch over.
- Does the migration cost anything?
- No. It is included on every plan, including the free Rookie plan.
- Is there a mobile app?
- Yes. The free HockeySync app for iPhone and Android shows scores, standings, stats and schedules, with notifications for the teams players and fans follow.
