The Replicants and Knights meet for the first time this season on Thursday at 10:00 PM EDT, with both clubs trying to turn their opening-night scoring into a first win.

The Knights opened with a 6-4 loss to the Hornets, while the Replicants dropped a 9-3 decision to Cobra Kai. The Knights leaned on Brayden Fengler, who had three goals and six points, and Leo Merlin, who added two goals and two assists. For the Replicants, Daniel Hofland set up three goals, while Derek Chow scored twice and Ryan Turna, Matthew Pakkala and Michael Pastorcic each had a goal. Tyler Whitmore has handled the Knights crease so far, and Colin Lo has done the same for the Replicants.

With both teams already showing they can put the puck in the net, the question is which side can tighten up enough to control a game that has a chance to run well beyond the league’s average total of 7.4 goals.
