The Kraken Beers can finish their regular season with a sweep of the Yetis on Monday at 9:00 PM EDT at Eisenhower Rink in East Meadow, New York. Kraken Beers won the first two meetings, including a 6-4 result on Aug. 11, and they come in with one more game after this one already behind them.

The Kraken Beers sit third in Adult B with 8 points, while the Yetis are fourth with 3. Kraken Beers have allowed 16 goals in 9 games and Yetis have scored 14 in 8, so the matchup puts the Yetis against a group that has been harder to break down. Kyle D’Aniello leads Kraken Beers with 8 points, with Asher Block right behind at 7, and Eric Quinn has started once in goal. For Yetis, Dominic Ferreri, Chris Rasizzi, Evan Mellina, and Nick Battaglia each sit on a short point total lead, while Anthony Russo has taken most of the crease work and owns the team’s only shutout. The question is whether the Yetis can finally solve a Kraken Beers side that has controlled the series so far.
