The puck drops on a brand-new HockeySync Hockey League season this Saturday! Ten teams across Division 1 and eight in Division 2 are ready to battle it out over a 45-game slate running through next spring. Rosters have been refreshed, a few offseason trades have shaken up the standings on paper, and early buzz says this could be the most competitive season yet. One month into the season and a handful of players are already rewriting the record book. Our leading scorer has racked up 14 points in just 6 games, while a rookie call-up on the blue line has quietly put together a +9 rating. Last night's marquee matchup didn't disappoint. Tied 3-3 after regulation, the game went to a tense 4-on-4 overtime before a blistering one-timer from the left circle found the top corner with just 12 seconds left on the clock.
